Payment Policy

Over the past 22 years we have built our business on small orders and have learnt that pre-payment is essential if we are to survive. The costs of processing small orders are significant and thus we cannot afford to offer credit direct to customers. In the payment options we offer an alternative which still allows you credit ie via your credit card. Through this method of payment you are still purchasing goods on credit and have, depending on which card you use, up to 45 days credit. Contact us directly should you have any questions or concerns.

Delivery Policy

All orders must include freight costs and will not be sent C.O.D.

All perishables sent within Australia are sent via Australia Post's Express Post service or courier. Non-perishable items are sent by Australia Post's Regular Mail Service.

Items are usually dispatched within 2 working days of receiving your order, providing all the goods are in stock. However, orders are generally not dispatched on Thursday and Friday, to prevent perishable items sitting in a post office over the weekend. If we are out of stock on any item that has been ordered, we will contact the customer within two working days and advise an approximate expected delivery date. Payment will not be processed until the order is dispatched.

Refund Policy

All CHEESELINKS products are selected for consistency. You may seek a refund for goods purchased from us if the product is faulty through no fault of your own or if it does not match our product description. However, the goods must be returned within a reasonable period and you may be asked for proof of purchase. You may also be asked to demonstrate that the problem with the goods was not your fault.

If you prefer an alternative to a refund we can arrange for goods to be exchanged or repaired. A credit to be used on other CHEESELINKS products may be offered at our discretion.

Please choose carefully as you are not entitled to a refund if you simply change your mind. Keep your receipt as proof of purchase.

Security Policy

Our transactions across the Internet is protected by high-strength 128 bit SSL encryption, provided you are using versions 4.0 or later of either Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer.  You will notice your web-browser "padlock" (bottom left or right edge of screen) is turned on before data entry occurs, this ensures that data transmission is totally private. If you are using an older web browser, the strength of encryption will be lower, usually 40 bit SSL. It is strongly recommended that all users of this site upgrade their browser to versions that support 128 bit SSL encryption.

The following indicates that you have entered a secure session and will be present when you are requested to enter your credit card details:

  • the "https" in place of the usual "http" in your browser address bar
  • the small padlock at the bottom of your browser window

Credit Card Processing

From our website we use a payment gateway called eWAY, which uses 1024 bit bank encryption to process data. You can obtain further technical information about our payment gateway by visiting our supplier's site, www.eway.com.au.

We do not store your credit card details upon the completion of the credit card transaction. If you're uncomfortable using your credit card online, we also accept payment by a number of other methods, including cheque (Australian banks only), money order (in Australian dollars), or direct deposit into our bank account.

We use our best efforts to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. But no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information we cannot guarantee its absolute security
