How much will my order cost to post?

If you are ordering a cheesemaking kit, we have already calculated the cost of postage and included it in the price of the kit, so you have no more postage costs to pay!

 

If you are ordering individual items, the following postage and handling charges apply:
Orders less than 500g - $10
Orders between 500g to 3kg - $15
Orders between 3kg to 5kg - $20

Orders over 5kg- please contact us to find out the cost of posting

 

These prices are for postage within Australia. For overseas customers please check with us for the cost of freight.

 

You can call us or email us to enquire about how much postage to include with your order, or you can caluculate yourself using the information below. The following is an approximation of the weight of some of our products which will allow you to calculate the postage of your order.

 

• Packaging material - 200 - 350g - The basic cardboard box and packaging material for each order will usually be between 200g - 350g depending on the size of your order. For small orders allow 200g, for larger orders allow 350g.

• All starter and ripening cultures - approximately 20g each.

• White and blue mould - 20g

• Home Cheesemaking book - 320g.

• Thermometer - 70g

• Wraps x 50 - approx 250g

• Cheesecloth 1m - 180g

• Rennet, wax, plastic cheese coating, lipase, annatto cheese colour and calcium solution are all sold by weight so refer back to the weight of the item ordered.

• Baskets range from 50g to 800g depending on the size, but as these are often bulky they need to be sent in larger boxes which increases the cost of postage. For this reason most orders with baskets will usually be $15 or more for postage.
