We send out goods by Australia Post, and usually post on Monday, Tuesday  only.

If your order includes items that require refrigeration the goods will be sent express post, otherwise goods will be sent regular parcel post.

In general, the following postage and handling charges apply:

Orders less than 500g - $10 

Orders between 500g to 3kg - $15

Orders between 3kg to 5kg - $20.

The basic cardboard box and packaging material for each order will usually be between 200g - 350g depending on the size of your order. For small orders allow 200g, for larger orders allow 350g.

The following is an approximation of the weight of some of our products which will allow you to calculate the postage of your order.

• Packaging material - 200 - 350g

• All Starter cultures - approximately 20g each.

• White and blue mould - 20g

• Home Cheesemaking book - 320g.

• Thermometer - 70g

• Wraps x 50 - approx 250g

• Cheesecloth 1m - 180g

• Rennet, wax, plastic cheese coating, lipase, annatto cheese colour and calcium solution are all sold by weight so refer back to the weight of the item ordered.

• Baskets range from 50g to 800g depending on the size, but as these are often bulky they need to be sent in larger boxes which increases the cost of postage. For this reason most orders with baskets will usually be $12 or more for postage.
